After the priority ticket sale on May 20, the Organizing Committee of the K-Star Spark in Vietnam 2025 Music Festival officially sold tickets publicly to all audiences at 2:00 p.m. on May 21. Before the G hour, many audiences were mentally prepared, waiting to "hunt" for tickets on the CTicket distribution portal.
However, at the appointed time, many fans were disappointed when the ticket distribution website kept reporting errors. Blank pages, unable to log in or being "kicked" out of the system... were the errors customers encountered when buying tickets on the distribution portal.
Faced with this situation, many viewers commented indignantly on the Fanpage of CTicket and the event sponsor bank. Not long after, the ticket sales portal was closed with a notice that it would reopen at 2:45 p.m. after fixing the system error.
However, when the G hour struck, the audience once again shook their heads in frustration because they could not access the site. CTicket then had to post a notice to temporarily stop selling tickets with the reason that "the system recorded a sudden increase in traffic from both inside and outside the country, seriously affecting the ticket sales process and customer experience".
The opening day of ticket sales for the Grand Concert was a complete failure.
By the evening of May 21, this site announced that it would reopen public ticket sales at 8:00 p.m. on May 22.
Faced with a wave of fan backlash, the CTicket Fanpage and the sponsoring bank had to block the comment function on social networks.
Many viewers were disappointed after trying to buy tickets three times but still couldn't. Ms. Lan Tran (32 years old, Hanoi ) shared: "To buy tickets for the event with G-Dragon, I had to make a visa card to buy priority tickets as requested by the Organizing Committee but was unsuccessful.
After that, I was on duty twice at noon to buy tickets for public sale for everyone. I felt extremely disappointed when I pressed F5 continuously but could not access the page. Until now, I still do not know when I will be able to buy tickets.
In the same situation, Le Thanh Thanh (30 years old, Thanh Hoa ) said: "I am working in Korea but still 'on duty' to 'hunt' for tickets because I have been a fan of G-Dragon for a long time. When I clicked on the ticket purchase link, I received a request to confirm that I was 'not a robot', and I waited for 15 minutes but still could not buy a ticket.
With two consecutive failed sales on May 21 and a previous unsuccessful attempt to use a visa to buy priority tickets, I am quite confused about whether the next sales of the Organizing Committee will go smoothly.
Previously, the day of priority ticket sales for visa account holders of the sponsoring bank also did not go smoothly. Many people lined up online to buy tickets but could not make payment. Even more ironically, some fans had purchased tickets, paid successfully but did not receive the tickets via email.
Frustrated because they couldn't buy tickets, fans had no choice but to wait for the next sale from the Organizing Committee and rush into the endless "ticket hunting" war.
The K-Star Spark in Vietnam 2025 concert will bring together a huge star cast, especially marking the first time G-Dragon has come to Vietnam to perform as a solo artist. The event will take place at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi on June 21. The event promises to attract a large number of fans in Vietnam and other countries in the region.
