Affirming the unique identity of designers

Designers and fashion brands participating in AVIFW Spring Summer 2025

With the theme #PureStyleShines - Unique identity creates style , the fashion week takes place from June 5 to 8 at Nguyen Du Stadium (HCMC).

Over the years, AVIFW fashion week has consistently pursued sustainable fashion - from introducing collections using recycled materials such as lotus silk, oyster shells, and bamboo stems, to preserving cultural elements in each design.

This year, in addition to continuing to honor environmentally friendly materials, the program also emphasizes the "unique identity" element in the design language of each fashion house.

AVIFW Spring Summer 2025 is special in the collaboration between MultiMedia JSC and ADV Digital (a digital media company integrating technology) to bring AR experience to the event. Specifically, guests will have a unique experience right on the red carpet of new designs through virtual reality technology.

Ms. Trang Le, President of the Association of Southeast Asian Fashion Designers (CAFD) and President of AVIFW, affirmed that if in the past decade, AVIFW has contributed to bringing Vietnamese fashion to the world with the courage, stories and creativity of Vietnamese designers and brands, then the next decade will open a new era - the era of identity. This is the journey to affirm the unique position of Vietnamese fashion on the international map, towards building a fashion industry with strong cultural identity, capable of competing globally.

“The theme of Unique Identity creates style as a strong affirmation of the “position” of Vietnamese fashion on the world fashion map. This is also a great opportunity for us to tell the story of identity – from culture, materials, to national spirit – through the creative lens of fashion,” Ms. Trang Le shared.

Organizers and designers share about fashion week

At AVIFW Spring Summer 2025, there are 16 designers - accompanying fashion brands. Le Thanh Hoa became the opening designer, with the collection The Light of Water as a tribute to the beauty of water - a soft, pure but powerful element that is always in a state of motion. The person taking on the closing position for the program is Vu Viet Ha - a designer who has devoted much effort to natural materials of Vietnam. He will present the collection Ma Dao .

Besides, there are designers: Adrian Anh Tuan, Cao Minh Tien, Ivan Tran, Thao Nguyen, Thanh Huong Bui, Ha Nhat Tien, Vuong Khang.

In addition, AVIFW 2025 welcomes international "guests" such as high-end fashion designer Julien Fournié (recognized as "Haute Couture"), designer Alberto Zambelli (Italy), designer Frederick Lee (Singapore), fashion brand Behati (Malaysia), brand Moral (Indonesia).
