Sayangva festival is held to pray for a good harvest.
On the same day, the Sayangva Festival was held at the newly inaugurated headquarters. Village elder Mai Van Luong happily welcomed representatives of local authorities to attend activities such as praying for favorable weather, enjoying traditional dishes and participating in activities such as pot smashing, tug of war, stick pushing, etc.
Sayangva is a traditional festival of the Cho Ro ethnic group, held in the third lunar month, after the harvest. This is not only an occasion to thank the gods for a bountiful harvest and pray for favorable weather, but also a place to connect people together. The festival is also considered a cultural beauty that is maintained and developed by the Cho Ro people.
