Attending the program were representatives of the leaders of the City Party Committee, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, departments, branches, and many artists and relatives of artists who used to work in the Liberation Art Troupe.

The book is a valuable documentary and artistic work, written by poet and journalist Le Minh Quoc, and was conceived and compiled over nearly 2 years. The book vividly depicts the formation, development and silent but great contributions of the Liberation Art Troupe - a special art unit under the Central Propaganda Department of the Southern Central Office, operating from 1961 to 1975.

In the fierce war conditions, the troupe both practiced art, made revolution, performed for the people, and directly participated in combat, contributing with all their heart and blood. Many artists sacrificed their lives, but their songs, voices, and dances still resounded like an immortal epic about patriotism and cultural power.

The work is divided into 3 parts: "Shoulder to Shoulder, Sharing the Same Flag", "Portraits of Talents Against the Flood" and "This Fate, We Keep This Common Property", with notes, memoirs, letters from the battlefield, portraits of artists, and 50 typical revolutionary songs born during the resistance period.

Speaking at the program, People's Artist Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, emphasized: The book is a deep gratitude to the generation of revolutionary artists and writers, a testament to an artistic period closely associated with the ideal and aspiration for national liberation. At the same time, this is also an inspirational message for today's generation of artists to continue, preserve and promote the noble values of Vietnamese revolutionary art.
