On the morning of May 26, Thai Binh Power Company coordinated with the Power Grid Project Management Board (Northern Power Corporation) to start construction of the 110kV Long Boi - Kien Xuong transmission line and 22kV feeders after the 110kV Long Boi transformer station; and to renovate the 110kV line route 172E3.3 Long Boi - Kien Xuong - 173E11.9 Tien Hai.

Leaders of Thai Binh Power Company and the Power Grid Project Management Board (Northern Power Corporation) performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the 110kV Long Boi - Kien Xuong transmission line.

The 110kV line from Long Boi 110kV transformer station to Kien Xuong 110kV transformer station was built in 1976. The line has been in operation for many years, often overloaded, and has now degraded. To ensure power supply for socio-economic development and people's daily life, the Northern Power Corporation has invested in the construction of the Long Boi - Kien Xuong 110kV line. The project renovates and builds a new 110kV line from Pooctic 110kV E3.3 Long Boi transformer station to Tien Hai 110kV E11.9 transformer station with a total length of 37.89km, with a total investment of more than 150 billion VND. The line is built in the communes of Dong Hop, Dong Dong, Dong Quang, Dong Duong (Dong Hung); Dong Tho, Dong Hoa, Vu Dong, Vu Lac communes, Hoang Dieu ward (Thai Binh city) and Vu An, Vu Ninh, Vu Quy, Quang Lich, Hoa Binh , Binh Minh, An Boi, Thuong Hien communes (Kien Xuong).

This is one of the key projects of special importance to the power grid system in the province. The project, when completed and put into use, will contribute to maintaining stable power supply, reducing power grid incidents, reducing power loss, promoting local socio -economic development and people's lives in the province, especially providing safe and stable power supply in Dong Hung, Kien Xuong, Tien Hai districts and Thai Binh city.
