Groundbreaking ceremony of the largest tourism complex and resort urban area in the Central region

On June 22, 2025, Vinpearl Joint Stock Company, a member of Vingroup Corporation, officially started construction of Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex in Hoa Hiep Bac ward, Da Nang city.

Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh , Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Prime Minister and Comrade Nguyen Duc Hai, Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly attended the ceremony.

The project has a total area of 512.2 hectares, this is one of the largest-scale, most classy projects in the Central region currently invested.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, General Director of Vingroup Corporation shared: “We determined that developing Lang Van is not simply building a resort destination, but also a journey to create a new symbol - a place where people live in harmony with nature in a modern and sustainable environment. The project will be systematically planned according to a multi-functional model, with reasonable construction density, prioritizing the preservation of natural landscapes, honoring indigenous beauty and creating an ideal, classy living space”.

Lang Van owns a very special location, "leaning on the mountain facing the sea", located at the foot of Hai Van Pass, with pristine natural landscape, smooth white sand, clear blue water and majestic cliffs, creating ideal conditions to develop a high-class resort space.

The complex is designed according to the international standard “resort city” model, with low density and multi-functional facilities. The project will include resorts such as hotels, resorts, villas, along with accommodation areas (apartments), entertainment (theme parks), cuisine, commerce, education and healthcare.

In his congratulatory speech , Mr. Le Trung Chinh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City "highly appreciated the pioneering spirit and vision of Vingroup Corporation, this is a clear demonstration of the investor's confidence in environmental innovation and investment advantages in Da Nang City. The city believes that the project will open up great opportunities for Da Nang's socio-economic development in the future, and is an important core in the development strategy of the Northwest region of the city".

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City noted, "The Da Nang Government will always accompany and support investors. At the same time, we request that investors, when constructing and operating the project, pay attention to, preserve and limit the impact on the ecosystem here for sustainable development."

The complex is expected to complete and put into operation the first components in 2027, contributing to activating the economic potential of the region, opening up strong opportunities for tourism, trade, logistics and investment development.

This is also an important step for Vingroup in its strategy to develop a new type of coastal urban chain, based on three pillars: Green - Smart - Ecological, following the world's advanced ESG urban model.

The Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex Project was approved by the Prime Minister to adjust the investment policy in Decision No. 1432/QD-TTg dated November 20, 2024. The project has an area of 512.2 hectares, a population of about 19,000 people with a total investment capital of about VND 43,922.03 billion./.
