
The program focuses on products and solutions in key technology areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), edge computing, 5G, Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, smart cities, automotive technology and others, while leveraging the power of Qualcomm's advanced mobile platforms and technologies.
Through patent filing incentives and support, startups participating in QVIC have filed more than 200 patent, copyright, trademark and industrial design applications over the past five years.
With the vision of making Vietnam one of the leading technology innovation centers in Asia and the world , the QVIC Program is proud to be one of the practical initiatives to activate the ecosystem in Vietnam.

QVIC 2026 is designed with a professional roadmap, lasting from October 2025 to September 2026, aiming to support technology startups and innovation ecosystems in Vietnam from the idea generation stage to product commercialization.
Startups participating in QVIC 2026 enjoy the following benefits: Support for costs and consulting on patent registration; technical support and product development; advanced training on intellectual property; business coaching and consulting; support during the incubation phase and awards (total support and awards value up to 410,000 USD); business connections, promoting image widely domestically and internationally.
The program organizers said that from October to December 2025 is the application submission period, organizing workshops in Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. Enterprises can submit applications online via the QVIC-Qualcomm Vietnam Innovation Challenge website.
January-February 2026 is the preliminary round with the selection of 30 typical projects from the startup community and innovation ecosystem.
March-April 2026 is the incubation period. 30 projects will participate in intellectual property training, business training and receive funding when registering their inventions.
May-August 2026 is the acceleration phase. Select 15 projects from the startup and ecosystem to receive intensive technical support, business training and funding for patent registration and product development.
August 2026 will be the Showcase Day. The organizers will announce the Top 3 best projects and 2 additional awards.
September 2026 is the post-program support phase. QVIC continues to connect potential projects with commercial opportunities, exhibitions, customers, partners and investors in its global network.
