Golfers compete in a 72-hole stroke play format (4 rounds of 18 holes each). After the first 36 holes, the organizers will make the cut, selecting the 50 best male golfers and 12 best female golfers for the final two rounds. The winner is the golfer with the lowest gross score after 4 rounds.
The total prize fund this year is 1.2 billion VND, of which 1 billion VND is for the men's division and 200 million VND is for the women's division. The men's division champion receives 180 million VND, while the women's division champion receives 60 million VND.

The tournament will be played under the 2023 Rules of Golf issued by R&A Rules Ltd. and the United States Golf Association (USGA), in a stroke play format over four rounds of 18 holes (72 holes in total). For the Men's Division, after 36 holes, there will be a cut and only the top 50 golfers and ties will be allowed to continue playing. For the Women's Division, after 36 holes, there will be a cut and only the top 12 golfers and ties will be allowed to continue playing. The winner is the golfer with the lowest gross score at the end of the tournament.
