The event is a special activity and a rare opportunity for parents, students and art lovers to witness firsthand the process of evaluating the paintings of young people on their journey to the Louvre Museum - the world's most prestigious art gallery.

The judging space is arranged like a miniature exhibition room with hundreds of works of various themes on display. From landscapes, portraits, abstracts to new creative materials, etc. Each painting leaves a unique impression on the viewer, showing the serious investment and ability to appreciate painting of the contestants.

The judging panel includes prestigious professors, artists and painters from the US, China, Korea and Vietnam. The presence of the international judging panel helps ensure a fair and transparent judging process; while also providing a multi-dimensional perspective on young Vietnamese art. The public judging session also demonstrates the professionalism of an international arena, where the judging is conducted in front of the audience.

The public, especially children who love painting, could not hide their excitement at this colorful and inspiring "visual feast". Ngo Minh Hieu (student of class 6A9, Nghia Tan Secondary School, Nghia Do Ward, Hanoi ) and his father and younger sister arrived very early to see all the entries. Minh Hieu shared: "Every work is so beautiful! I think my brothers and sisters and friends must have drawn for a long time to be able to do that. I also want to practice drawing to be as good as that."

According to the judges, this year's competition gathered many works with bold ideas, subtlety in expression and rich emotions in the messages conveyed. In particular, the prominence of the group of young contestants showed that the young artists are growing, have great potential and can fully expect to represent Vietnam in international art playgrounds.

Held in Hanoi but with a global scope, the competition is an opportunity for Vietnamese students to demonstrate their talents and access professional art appraisal processes. The painting with the highest average score will be displayed at the Louvre Museum in France on January 16-17, 2026, along with excellent works from 18 other countries. This will be a special moment where young Vietnamese talents shine in a world-class art space.
