City leaders respond to citizens' petitions

Citizen reception sessions are organized in person and online, connecting to connecting points at the People's Committees of communes and wards.

At the meeting, there were more than 17 comments and feedback from citizens. The opinions of the people mainly focused on the following contents: Proposal to soon adjust the zoning plan to issue new land use right certificates, convert agricultural land to residential land, grant resettlement land, compensate for land, and propose early retirement regime.

After listening to citizens' opinions and responses from functional agencies, Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thien Dinh and city leaders directly discussed, explained, and clarified the contents of people's petitions and reflections; at the same time, directed departments, branches, and local authorities to urgently review, advise, and propose solutions to handle the matter thoroughly, in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring the legitimate rights of the people.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thien Dinh requested relevant units and localities to continue to enhance their sense of responsibility, proactively resolve outstanding and prolonged cases, ensure the legitimate rights and interests of the people; at the same time, strengthen public reception, dialogue, listen and promptly resolve arising problems right at the grassroots level.

“Units and localities must enhance their sense of responsibility, grasp each case and each specific file that people petition; organize on-site inspections, review files, and compare them with legal regulations to have a basis for accurate and objective advice to city leaders in the process of directing the resolution, not avoiding responsibility or letting it linger for a long time, causing resentment among the people,” Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thien Dinh suggested.
