Youth Sports Space ignites Vietnamese youth

TPO - On the journey to live a healthy, active and constantly improving life, Vietnamese youth are once again empowered when the 13th project of "Youth Sports Space - Recharging Energy, Energizing Youth" officially comes into operation.

Tien Linh spreads the spirit of healthy living with his role as Ambassador of "Youth Sports Space - Recharge Energy, Rejuvenate Youth".

In his earliest memory of football, Nguyen Tien Linh recalls an afternoon when he was a little boy and sat playing on the basketball court near his school. On that field, a group of kids were playing with plastic balls. Short of people, they called Tien Linh to play. He fell in love with football immediately, and that football field became his whole world , where he was immersed in freedom and soaring dreams.

Now, as the Vietnam Golden Ball and the top scorer of the Vietnam national team as well as in the V League, Tien Linh still does not forget the small field, where his football dream began. Having been honored as a Beautiful Youth 2024, he also always hopes that young people can find their own dream space.

Therefore, Tien Linh was very happy with the role of Ambassador of the program "Youth Sports Space - Refueling, Energizing Youth", a project implemented by TCP Vietnam in cooperation with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and the National Volunteer Center.

The program sets out a plan to renovate and upgrade 20 sports fields in 3 years, from 2024 to 2026. Each project is designed to meet the community's exercise needs, with expected items including renovating the ground and renewing the fields for sports such as soccer, basketball, badminton, pickleball, etc., and adding some outdoor sports equipment.

In 2024, the project completed 9 playgrounds in Thanh Hoa, Da Nang, Bac Giang, Can Tho, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An, Bac Ninh and Binh Duong. In 2025, 4 projects were inaugurated in Tuyen Quang, Gia Lai, Da Nang and recently on October 26 in Man De village, Tran Phu commune, Hai Phong city, the 13th project of the project officially came into operation.

Hai Phong officially joined the journey "Youth Sports Space - Recharge Energy, Energize Youth".

This project is located at Tran Phu commune stadium, including 02 pickleball courts and an outdoor practice area with an area of ​​about 900 m2 after renovation, meeting the training needs of 200 people per day, serving over 15,000 residents and 3,000 young workers and students in the area. Not only does it bring a new environment, meeting the increasing physical training needs of local youth, the project also contributes to strongly spreading the spirit of healthy living and positive living to the community.

Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy - Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union said: "The movement of physical training among young people has become an essential need, both serving health and contributing to building a healthy and civilized lifestyle. Therefore, we welcome the companionship of businesses like TCP Vietnam, which has helped turn youth initiatives into existing projects, serving the community in a practical, long-term and equal way for all subjects."

As someone who has been involved in sports since childhood, Ambassador Tien Linh emphasized, “A proper training environment brings many benefits to young people”. “Every time I see new training grounds come into operation, I am very happy that you have more opportunities to practice and connect with the community”, said the Vietnamese player, “Being able to accompany the program for the past two years has also helped me see more clearly the perseverance of TCP Vietnam in fulfilling its commitment to energizing young people through modern and synchronized sports spaces”.
