Temporarily stop construction to renovate sidewalks in Buon Ma Thuot ward

The People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot Ward has just issued an official dispatch requesting the Buon Ma Thuot Construction Investment Project Management Board (Buon Ma Thuot Management Board) and related units to temporarily stop the implementation of sidewalk renovation and improvement with natural stone paving on the roads in the ward.

Specifically, the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot Ward requested the Buon Ma Thuot Management Board and related units and enterprises to temporarily stop digging sidewalks on roads that have been granted construction permits; and at the same time, return the site to the sections where digging has been carried out. The suspension period will be until there is a written permission from the competent authority.

The Project to Upgrade Sidewalks and Technical Infrastructure of Truong Chinh Street (Buon Ma Thuot Ward) is currently only constructing underground infrastructure, temporarily suspending pavement paving.

Previously, through information gathering, currently in Buon Ma Thuot ward there is a situation of digging up sidewalks to construct technical infrastructure systems, but the construction is not carried out synchronously, causing waste of investment capital and frustration among the people.

Therefore, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai has issued a document requesting the Buon Ma Thuot Management Board, the People's Committees of Buon Ma Thuot Ward and Tan An Ward to temporarily stop implementing the work of beautifying and renovating sidewalks with natural stone paving on the roads in these two areas.

The Provincial People's Committee also requested units and localities to review and report on the situation and results of implementing projects and projects to renovate and improve sidewalks with natural stone paving on the roads in Buon Ma Thuot and Tan An wards in the past (including projects using state capital and projects using socialized capital); report on the investment preparation situation and plans for paving sidewalks with natural stone paving so that the Provincial People's Committee can review and direct implementation in a synchronous manner, avoiding the situation where the construction is just completed and then continued digging, causing waste of investment capital and frustration among the people.
