Going up to milestone 108, belonging to the Pac Bo - Cao Bang National Special Relic Site (Truong Ha Commune, Ha Quang District, Cao Bang) is now easier than before. The path is between rows of green sưa trees, surrounded by cool old forests. 84 years have passed since the great father of the nation returned to directly lead the Vietnamese revolution after many years of wandering to find a way to save the country, the traces of the early history are still intact. The Cao Bang border is the place to welcome him, witnessing his first steps back.

When he first returned to the country, Uncle Ho stayed at Mr. Ly Quoc Sung's (Mr. May Ly) house. This place was only a short distance from the border marker, and the house's foundation was located right on the road leading to the marker. After staying temporarily at Mr. Ly Quoc Sung's house, Uncle Ho moved to Coc Bo cave, Lung Lan cave and Khuoi Nam hut.

Landmark 108 is made of monolithic stone blocks, erected in the late 19th century under the French-Qing Treaty to demarcate the land border between Vietnam and China. In 2001, when Vietnam and China planned to demarcate the border, the border was placed at national landmark 675. Currently, the old landmark 108 is located a few meters away from landmark 675.

Pac Bo relics include: Relic cluster in the upstream area, Central area souvenir site, Kim Dong relic site, Khuoi Nam relic site, Bo Bam relic site. Coming to Pac Bo - Cao Bang, it is difficult to miss milestone 108 - where "Uncle Ho's shadow is kissing the soil/Listening in the pink color of the embryonic shape of the country". Also in this area, from May 10 to 19, 1941, the 8th Central Party Conference took place, from which the Viet Minh Front was established, revolutionary bases were built, guerrilla warfare was developed, and armed uprisings were launched to seize power throughout the country.

84 years following Uncle Ho's footsteps, the country is now connected from north to south, with the starting point of the legendary Ho Chi Minh trail at Km0 right at Pac Bo - Cao Bang, stretching 3,167 km to Ca Mau cape.
