Mr. Bui Quoc Dung, who was the Director of the Monetary Policy Department of the State Bank, was appointed as the fifth Deputy State Auditor General.
On the afternoon of June 15, the State Audit Office announced the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the appointment of Mr. Bui Quoc Dung. Mr. Dung assumed the position of Deputy State Auditor General for 5 years, starting from June 12.

Thus, the leadership of the audit agency includes State Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan, 5 Deputy Auditors General: Ms. Ha Thi My Dung, Mr. Dang The Vinh, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Mr. Doan Anh Tho and Mr. Bui Quoc Dung.
Mr. Bui Quoc Dung, 44 years old, has a master's degree in economics from the US. While at the State Bank, he was the Director of the Monetary Statistics Forecast Department; Director of the Monetary Policy Department of the State Bank. Mr. Dung was also the assistant to the Head of the Central Economic Committee, term XII; and held the title of Director of the General Department of the Central Party Office.
According to the State Audit, Mr. Dung is a competent, well-trained officer who has held many positions. During his tenure as Director of the Monetary Policy Department - State Bank, many policies were issued, creating a foundation for exchange rate stabilization, such as: 0% interest rate for foreign currency deposits; central exchange rate mechanism; foreign currency forward trading mechanism between the State Bank and commercial banks.
