Specifically, in the pharmaceutical sector, there are 7 establishments with administrative violations, including 2 pharmaceutical business establishments and 5 drug manufacturing establishments.
The Department has issued a document temporarily suspending production at one facility because it only meets GMP level 4 principles.
At the same time, the department requested the unit to destroy 841 Milgamma N tubes that did not meet sensory quality standards (due to the hospital not preserving them according to the conditions stated on the label and return them to the company) and 2 batches of semi-finished products used to produce health protection foods because they did not meet the preservation conditions.
The Department also recommended that the Department of Traditional Medicine Management review the scope of the GMP certificate of a unit because at the time of inspection, the traditional medicine production line had not been operating for a long time and did not have enough equipment as at the time of assessment.
In the cosmetics sector, there are 9 establishments that have committed administrative violations. The main violations are the acts of declaring, advertising, and producing cosmetics with ingredients that do not match the Cosmetic Product Declaration Form.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam has issued decisions and official dispatches to withdraw and temporarily stop receiving documents of VB Group Company (HCMC), and to withdraw the Certificate of "Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics" of EBC Dong Nai Company.

Regarding testing, since the beginning of the year, the testing system has taken about 16,000 samples of drugs, cosmetics, and medicinal herbs on the market for quality testing. Thereby, the authorities discovered 16 samples that did not meet quality standards.

These include: Duc Anh Pharmacy buying and selling drugs of unknown origin, smuggled drugs and fake drugs (7 drugs including fake Nexium); An An Pharmacy buying and selling fake Theophylline extended-release tablets. Currently, the authorities are continuing to track down the origin of these drugs.
The Drug Administration of Vietnam assessed that through inspection, it has not discovered any establishments that produce, import, export, or wholesale counterfeit drugs, drugs of unknown origin, or smuggled drugs. However, it has discovered that some drug retail establishments have not strictly complied with regulations on the purchase and sale of legal drugs with full invoices and documents.
