4th session (special session), 10th Provincial People's Council: Passed many important resolutions, completed personnel of Provincial People's Committee

On the morning of November 13, the Provincial People's Council, term X, 2021 - 2026, held the 4th session (special session) to approve the contents under its authority. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council: Le Thi Nhung, Bui Tan Bay, Phan Hoang Vu chaired the session.

Attending the meeting were alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Huynh Quoc Viet; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Thuy.

The meeting considered and approved 07 Resolutions related to the following issues: Budget, public investment; capital allocation to implement national target programs on new rural construction, sustainable poverty reduction, socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2025; list of land plots for bidding for investment projects using land in the province; regulations on business trip and conference expenses; policies and regimes for people working outside the payroll quota at Associations assigned by the Party and State at the provincial and district levels before July 1, 2025.

The Resolutions passed at this session are an important legal basis for the Provincial People's Committee and all levels and sectors to organize and implement, contributing to socio-economic development, improving the effectiveness of State management and ensuring people's lives in the coming time.

Also at this session, the Provincial People's Council unanimously dismissed comrade Huynh Huu Tri from the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, due to accepting other duties.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Pham Van Thieu requested the Provincial People's Committee to urgently develop programs and plans to implement the recently approved Resolutions, closely following the socio-economic, national defense and security goals in 2025; promote the removal of difficulties for businesses, promote production, attract investment, disburse public investment capital, improve the investment environment and enhance the province's competitiveness, apply science and technology , promote digital transformation and green transformation. In particular, it is necessary to be more proactive and decisive in directing and operating socio-economic development, ensuring to achieve or exceed the 8% growth scenario, creating a solid foundation for the new development stage.

Strictly manage and effectively use the State budget; strengthen prevention, detection and strict handling of corruption, waste and negative acts. Thereby, requesting the Standing Committee, Committees, Delegation Groups and Provincial People's Council delegates to continue to promote their roles and responsibilities, strengthen and improve the quality of supervision; effectively carry out the work of meeting voters and citizens; promptly reflect, make recommendations and resolve legitimate and legal opinions of the people.
