Disciplinary warning for Chief Accountant of Dak Lak Political School

On May 15, news from the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee said that a decision had been made to discipline Mr. Vu Tien Dung, Chief Accountant of Dak Lak Provincial Political School, with a warning.

According to the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, in his role as Chief Accountant of Dak Lak Provincial Political School, Mr. Vu Tien Dung violated Party regulations and State laws in performing his assigned duties and tasks.

Accordingly, Mr. Dung is the person directly responsible for: Not advising on the management, inventory, and monitoring of public assets (trees); Advising on the purchase of audio equipment, drinking water filtration systems, donated watches (delegates attending the 60th anniversary of the school's founding), accepting the repair of the guest house, managing and using public assets in violation of regulations; Advising on the management and use of funds for joint training, fostering, and advanced political theory classes, budget sources and payment of amounts such as printing mock-ups, buying gifts, and paying allowances (for comrades participating in the Southern Working Group in July 2022), taking care of trees; Advising on the signing, liquidation of contracts, and payment of allowances for lecturers teaching intermediate political theory classes in conjunction with units; Not properly implementing the direction of the Head of the unit in providing and exchanging information according to the grassroots democracy regulations. Mr. Vu Tien Dung's violations caused serious consequences, reducing the reputation of the Party organization, Dak Lak Provincial Political School and the individual.

Previously, the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission decided to discipline the Party Committee of Dak Lak Provincial Political School in the form of a reprimand for the 2015-2020 and 2020-2025 terms. The Party Committee of Dak Lak Political School violated Party regulations and working regulations; lacked responsibility, slackened leadership and direction; lacked inspection and supervision, allowing cadres and Party members to violate Party regulations and State laws.

As reported by SGGP Newspaper, previously, the Dak Lak Department of Finance announced the results of the inspection of financial management at the Dak Lak Provincial Political School (2017-2022 period) and pointed out a series of violations in revenue and expenditure at this unit and proposed to recover billions of dong.
