"La Gi Ward determines that tourism development must be associated with community benefits, environmental protection and preservation of cultural identity. We hope that when tourists leave La Gi, they will feel safe, warm and close," Ms. Lam shared. Currently, the ward has more than 70 large and small accommodation establishments, including 2 resorts, nearly 20 hotels, dozens of motels and many households opening rooms for rent. The ward's community beach is always a favorite destination for tourists, where boats set sail every morning and the bustling laughter of beachgoers every afternoon. Coastal resorts have become familiar resort addresses, contributing to spreading the image of La Gi more widely on the Lam Dong tourism map.

Building a civilized tourism environment

With the goal of becoming a "Safe - Friendly - Quality" destination, La Gi ward focuses on destination management, prices and service quality. Businesses are instructed to clearly list prices, ensure food hygiene and safety, and absolutely do not allow solicitation or commercial fraud. Tourism propaganda sessions are integrated into neighborhood meetings, and propaganda billboards are placed along coastal roads - all aimed at building La Gi into a hospitable land.

Not only stopping at traditional promotion, La Gi is catching up with the trend of smart tourism. Communication activities and destination introductions are promoted on social networks, electronic information pages, and ward fanpages. Images of Doi Duong beach, Hon Ba or coastal resorts are constantly updated, helping tourists easily access and book services online. Local authorities also encourage accommodation establishments, restaurants, and shops to apply cashless payments and use QR codes in service introductions. These are small steps but help La Gi approach a modern, convenient tourism model, in line with the digitalization trend of the tourism industry nationwide.

On the other hand, at this time, La Gi ward is reviewing the planning, clearly identifying areas with potential for tourism development, creating favorable conditions for administrative procedures for businesses and business households. At the same time, the locality resolutely handles violations in construction, resource exploitation, ensuring a green - clean - beautiful environment for tourists and residents. In the coming time, La Gi aims to expand high-quality accommodation facilities, form more entertainment, recreation, culinary and night market areas to serve tourists. Connecting tourist routes between wards and communes in the Southeast Lam Dong region is also being calculated, aiming to create a chain of typical tourism products of the region.
