Tay Ninh participates in the 2025 Global Cities Tourism Promotion Capacity Building Program

The capacity building program organized by the Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities (TPO) took place from October 27 to 30, 2025 at the Busan Workation Center, Busan City (Korea).

Students participated in lively discussion.

The event gathered tourism staff from 10 provinces and cities of 6 countries including Korea, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Uzbekistan and Vietnam, of which Tay Ninh province had 2 members selected to participate.

The theme of this year's program is "The coexistence of work and travel: A new lifestyle created by Workation" revolving around the trend of creating favorable conditions for tourists to have a working space, group work right during their travel and vacation at tourist destinations.

Through discussion, survey, experience, evaluation and typical presentations, the program has provided students with a lot of useful and practical knowledge. This is the basis for proposing sustainable tourism development projects from the advantages of each local destination, attracting more high-end tourist segments with the purpose of combined tourism.

In the presentation at the event, Tay Ninh members emphasized the outstanding advantages of the locality such as geographical location, landscape, river system, relics, craft villages, high-class golf courses, etc. The combination of these potentials with the Workation trend promises to create a special attraction, contributing to prolonging the stay and enhancing the experience of tourists in Tay Ninh.

Students from many countries are very impressed by the natural and cultural beauty of Tay Ninh. The landscape of Ba Den Mountain, Vam Co River, Hoan Cau Long An Golf Course, West Lakes Golf Course, Chavi Garden Experiential Education Area, My Quynh Zoo, and the homestay system are considered very suitable for implementing the Workation project for Tay Ninh tourism.

Also at the event, the Tay Ninh delegation circulated a clip promoting Tay Ninh tourism on the TPO's website and the tourist destination information pages of cities with students participating in the TPO Capacity Building Program in 2025. This activity is expected to create a strong ripple effect, attracting international tourists to visit and experience Tay Ninh in the coming time./.
