Youth of the 5th Division: Pioneering, creative, and promoting emulation movements.

Lieutenant Colonel Phan Hoai Quyet - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of the 5th Division, attended and directed the conference. Also in attendance were heads of agencies and units, representatives of local Youth Union organizations in the area where the division is stationed, affiliated units, and more than 200 Youth Union members and young people.

The Party Committee and Command of the 5th Division presented flowers to congratulate the conference.

During the period 2022-2025, the Youth Union work and youth movement of the 5th Division saw many positive changes. Party committees, commanders, and political agencies at all levels consistently paid close attention and provided thorough guidance; the Youth Union cadre was strengthened, trained, and provided with capacity-building training. Youth Union organizations played a pioneering and creative role, contributing to the successful completion of political tasks and the building of a strong, comprehensive, exemplary, and outstanding unit.

Every year, the youth of the Division carry out emulation movements in conjunction with revolutionary action movements and campaigns of the Army and the unit, with many diverse, rich, attractive, and creative activities and forms.

Many exemplary models have been effectively maintained, such as: "Exemplary Youth Building a Regular and Disciplined Youth Union", "Youth Union Branches Without Members Violating Discipline or Law", "Smoking-Free Youth Union Branches", "Four Goods - One Strictness", "Five Good Youth", and the "100 Dong House" construction program.

In 2025, young people in agencies and units will actively participate in the "Digital Literacy Movement" with the spirit of "leaving no one behind" in the digital transformation process. This will significantly contribute to building the political fortitude, confidence, and responsibility of cadres, union members, and young people in performing their duties, contributing to building a clean, strong, and exemplary Party organization; and a comprehensively strong, "exemplary, and outstanding" agency or unit.

For the period 2025-2030, the 5th Division is determined to continue to thoroughly understand and strictly implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations on youth and youth work; resolutions, action programs, and plans of all levels on youth work; innovate and strengthen the leadership and guidance of Party committees, political commissars, commanders, and political agencies at all levels on youth work; and focus on educating and training youth members.

In addition, we will effectively implement the emulation movement "Youth of the Division cultivate virtue, hone skills, be proactive, creative, and worthy of being called Ho Chi Minh's soldiers in the new era" in conjunction with the campaign "Promoting traditions, contributing talents, and being worthy of being called Ho Chi Minh's soldiers" in the new era and the "Popular Education Movement".

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Phan Hoai Quyet, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy Political Commissar of the 5th Division, requested that in the coming period, Party committees, commanders, and political agencies at all levels should focus on effectively carrying out political and ideological education for Youth Union members and young people; continue to innovate the content and methods of Youth Union activities and youth movements in conjunction with emulation movements and campaigns; pay attention to building a team of Youth Union cadres with good qualities, excellent skills, high prestige, enthusiasm, and responsibility; and strengthen coordination with local political and social organizations.

On this occasion, the Party Committee and Command of the 5th Division awarded commendations to 2 collectives and 12 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the movement "Youth of the Division cultivate virtue, hone skills, be proactive, creative, worthy of being called Ho Chi Minh's soldiers in the new era".
