Youth of Division 5: Active, creative, promoting emulation movements

Lieutenant Colonel Phan Hoai Quyet - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of Division 5 attended and directed the conference. Attending were heads of agencies, units, representatives of local Youth Union organizations in the stationed area, twinning units and more than 200 union members and youth.

The Party Committee and Commander of Division 5 presented flowers to congratulate the conference.

In the 2022-2025 period, the Youth Union and youth movement of Division 5 have many positive changes. Party committees, commanders and political agencies at all levels regularly pay attention and provide close direction; the Youth Union staff are strengthened, trained and coached to improve their capacity. Youth Union organizations promote their pioneering and creative roles, contributing to the successful completion of political tasks, building a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary and typical" unit.

Every year, the Division's youth carry out emulation movements associated with revolutionary action movements, campaigns of the Army and units with many diverse, rich, attractive and creative contents and forms of activities.

Many typical models have been effectively maintained such as: "Exemplary youth building discipline", "Youth branch with no members violating discipline and law", "Youth branch without smoking", "Youth branch with 4 good - 1 strict", "Youth branch with 5 good" and the program of building "House of 100 Dong".

Conference delegates

In 2025, young people of agencies and units actively responded to the implementation of the "Digital Education for All" movement with the spirit of "leaving no one behind" in the digital transformation process. Thereby, it significantly contributed to building political capacity, trust, and responsibility of cadres, union members, and youth in performing their tasks, contributing to building a clean, strong, and exemplary Party organization; a comprehensively strong, "exemplary, exemplary" agency and unit.

In the 2025-2030 period, Division 5 determined to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on youth and youth work; resolutions, action programs, and plans of all levels on youth work; innovate and strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees, political commissars, political officers, commanders, and political agencies at all levels regarding youth work; care for the education and training of union members and youth.

Besides, well implement the emulation movement "Youth of the Division cultivate virtue, train talent, be proactive, creative, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new period" associated with the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new period and the movement "Popular education number".

Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Phan Hoai Quyet - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of Division 5 suggested that in the coming time, Party committees, commanders and political agencies at all levels need to focus on doing well the political and ideological education for union members and youth; continue to innovate the content and methods of Union activities and youth movements associated with emulation movements and campaigns; focus on building a team of union cadres with good qualities, good qualifications, high prestige, enthusiasm and responsibility; strengthen coordination activities with local political and social organizations.

On this occasion, the Party Committee and Command of Division 5 awarded 2 collectives and 12 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the movement "Youth of the Division cultivate virtue, train talent, be proactive, creative, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new period"./.
