In 2025, the Provincial People's Court will handle 36,884 cases.

On the afternoon of December 16th, the People's Court of An Giang province held a conference to summarize its work in 2025 and outline key tasks for 2026 for the two-level court system. Attending the conference were Judge Luong Ngoc Tram of the Supreme People's Court; Vo Nguyen Nam, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Party Agencies of An Giang province; and Dinh Thi Viet Huynh, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council of An Giang.

In 2025, the two-level courts of An Giang province resolved 36,884 cases, achieving a resolution rate of 87.31%. Compared to the same period in 2024, the number of cases received increased by 1,869, and the number of cases resolved increased by 1,667.

The Government 's Emulation Flag for 2025 was awarded to the collective of the People's Court of Region 15.

In criminal trials, the courts at both levels in An Giang province have always ensured that the right person is charged with the right crime, in accordance with the law. No cases of wrongful conviction of innocent people or failure to prosecute criminals have been detected.

In handling civil cases, the courts at both levels have focused on resolving difficult and complex cases, as well as cases that have dragged on for many years. They have done a good job of guiding parties to properly fulfill their obligations regarding the provision of evidence and documents for the case; and have proactively verified and collected evidence when necessary according to the law...

The Supreme People's Court awarded the Emulation Flag for 2025 to the collective of the People's Courts of Regions 7 and 11.

Speaking at the conference, Vo Nguyen Nam, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies of An Giang, highly appreciated the achievements of the two-level courts in the province over the past year.

Looking ahead, Vo Nguyen Nam, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of An Giang Province's Party Agencies , suggested that the two-level provincial court system continue to effectively implement the new two-level people's court model; improve the quality of trials, striving to minimize the rate of overturned or amended judgments due to subjective errors; strengthen coordination with functional agencies at all levels to quickly gather evidence in administrative and civil cases, absolutely preventing overdue cases or cases that are suspended without justification; tighten discipline, uphold the responsibility of heads of departments, strengthen inspection and supervision of public service in regional courts, and strictly handle acts of harassment and corruption…

On this occasion, many collectives were awarded the Government's Emulation Flag and the Supreme People's Court's Emulation Flag. Many collectives and individuals received commendations from the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court.
