Lien Son Lak Commune requests to stop the uprooting of water lilies at Lak Lake

Ms. Dao Thi Thanh An, Party Secretary and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Lien Son Lak commune, said that the locality has just requested relevant departments and offices to verify the situation of some people arbitrarily uprooting lotus plants at Lak lake.

Previously, Lien Son Lak commune received a report from local people about some individuals using boats to steal lotus flowers in Lak Lake. For a long time, lotus flowers have become a characteristic, a romantic highlight attracting tourists when visiting Lak Lake. Therefore, Lien Son Lak commune requested an immediate end to this situation.

The locality will increase patrols, monitoring and take measures to deal with cases of intentional damage to the landscape. At the same time, it will step up propaganda to raise public awareness, calling on people to join hands to protect the natural beauty and tourism resources of Lak Lake.
