At the training conference, trainees were equipped with knowledge about gender equality, the roles of women and men in the family and society; how to identify and prevent forms of violence including: physical, mental, economic , sexual and cyber violence.

The topics also focus on analyzing prejudices and outdated practices such as "male superiority" and "women must endure", thereby encouraging students to change their perceptions and behaviors, contributing to eliminating gender barriers in the community.

The training conference is a forum for trainees to discuss and share experiences in propagating and disseminating laws on gender equality and violence prevention in accordance with the customs and languages of ethnic minorities. Thereby, building and promoting effective trusted addresses in the community to protect and support victims of violence.

Through the conference, the Women's Union of Cu Pong commune continued to affirm its core role in the work for women's advancement, contributing to the effective implementation of Project 8, gradually reducing gender inequality, preventing violence on the basis of building happy families, united communities, and civilized societies.

On this occasion, the Women's Union of Cu Pong commune awarded start-up capital to 4 female members in difficult circumstances (10 million VND/household), helping them to have conditions to develop their economy and stabilize their lives.
