Thanh My Tay women build a strong organization

On October 30, the Women's Union of Thanh My Tay commune (An Giang province) held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

With the theme "Solidarity - Innovation - Creativity - Development", the congress strives to successfully achieve the targets for the 2025 - 2030 term. Specifically, every year, help 3 households with women escape poverty, escape near-poverty; support to improve knowledge and skills for 1 woman with ideas/projects to start a business, start a business; by the end of the term, 90% of people who have been detected to have suffered domestic violence and gender-based violence have access to at least one of the basic support services...

At the congress, the decision of the Standing Committee of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union was approved to appoint the Executive Committee of the Thanh My Tay Commune Women's Union consisting of 19 members. Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Commune Women's Union.
