Previously, Ms. H'Juôr's family's life was full of difficulties and deprivation. They had little land for production, 4 young children, and the couple and their children were crowded into a cramped house. The thought of having to strive to escape poverty urged the couple to work hard to make a living .
During the harvest season, the couple diligently cultivates several acres of rice for their family. During the off-season, they do whatever they can to earn money to cover their living expenses.
Having saved up some capital, Ms. H'Juôr discussed with her husband to buy more land for cultivation. Gradually, her family had more than 2.3 hectares of rice and 5 sao of upland land for growing crops. When the children grew up and started their own families, the couple divided part of the rice field for their children, keeping only 1 hectare of rice.

To develop the family economy, Ms. H'Juôr actively participated in training courses on transferring plant care techniques organized by associations. When introduced to good production and business models in the commune, she went there to learn from their experiences. After that, she and her husband decided to switch from growing flowers to growing coffee.
For rice, she has chosen varieties that are popular in the market for cultivation such as: ST24, fragrant calyx. The knowledge learned about pruning techniques, budding, fertilization time, weeding... has been applied by Ms. H'Juôr to coffee gardens and rice fields. Ms. H'Juôr knows by heart the formula for mixing fertilizers, the amount of water to irrigate at each time the plant flowers, sets fruit or during post-harvest care. To solve the problem of lack of irrigation water in the dry season, she and her husband have invested in digging a reservoir to store water. Around the coffee plantation, Ms. H'Juôr grows corn for animal feed to raise chickens and ducks, increasing income.
Hardworking and knowing how to cultivate scientifically , her family's crops grow well and give high yields. On average, each year, her family harvests 2 tons of coffee beans and 15 tons of rice, after deducting expenses, the remaining income is 200 - 250 million VND.
The family economy is stable and growing. In 2022, the couple will build a spacious house and buy means of living and production. Not only does she enrich her family, Ms. H'Juôr is also willing to guide, help, and share business and farming experiences with other households in the village.
