Ea Sup Commune Women's Union: Communicating gender equality law and domestic violence prevention law

On the evening of October 30, the Women's Union of Ea Sup commune organized a conference to propagate the law on gender equality, the law on preventing domestic violence, reducing child marriage and incestuous marriage, and preventing drowning for children.

At the propaganda session, the Women's Union of Ea Sup commune introduced the Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence, the Law on Gender Equality - reducing child marriage and incestuous marriage; the Law on Prevention and Control of Child Drowning; the Law on Cyber ​​Security - preventing and combating high-tech crimes, human trafficking in cyberspace against women and children.

At the same time, it provides guidance on some basic supervision and first aid skills and how to protect children in case of drowning; increases vigilance against high-tech crimes and online human trafficking, especially protecting women and children in the digital environment.

Many women members and people of Ea Sup commune participated in the propaganda session.

Through this training conference, cadres, members and people will clearly understand their rights and legal obligations to proactively prevent domestic violence and violations of the law, thereby raising awareness of gender equality, creating a family and community environment of respect, sharing and progress; reducing child marriage and consanguineous marriage, protecting children's rights, contributing to improving population quality. Promoting the proactive role of women in mobilizing, propagating and solving social issues in the locality.

The conference is an opportunity for female cadres and members to promote their core role in propaganda and mobilization work, contributing to the effective implementation of Project 8 "Implementing gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children" under the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

It is known that the Women's Union of Ea Sup commune has more than 4,300 members, participating in activities at 46 branches; of which 1,344 are ethnic minority members.
