Lac Duong: Responding to Workers' Month 2025

Lac Duong District Party Secretary Tran Thi Chuc Quynh and Lac Duong District Labor Federation Chairman Than Trong Toan presented the decision to establish 2 non-state enterprise trade unions.

Attending the event were comrade Tran Thi Chuc Quynh - Secretary of Lac Duong District Party Committee; leaders of the district Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, departments, branches, and representatives of trade unions in the district.

With the theme: "Vietnamese workers pioneer in entering the new era"; "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks and proactively implementing safety and hygiene measures at the workplace", Lac Duong District Labor Federation promotes propaganda and education to raise awareness, political mettle, and glorious traditions of the working class; mobilize union members and workers to study, improve qualifications, professional skills, work safely, and innovate working style.

At the same time, organize visits, encouragement, and gifts for workers in difficult circumstances, those who have had work-related accidents, serious illnesses, and exemplary union members. Launch and organize the construction of a safe, "Green - Clean - Beautiful", and friendly working environment; participate in monitoring the implementation of laws on labor, social insurance, and occupational safety and hygiene; strengthen coordination with employers to organize self-assessment activities, inspect, and review internal regulations and procedures for occupational safety and hygiene according to regulations.

Participate in training and introducing outstanding union members to the Party for consideration and training to join the Communist Party of Vietnam . Enhance the capacity for dialogue and collective bargaining on occupational safety and hygiene; regularly accompany and support grassroots unions to promote dialogue and collective bargaining at the grassroots level...

Lac Duong District Party Secretary Tran Thi Chuc Quynh awarded Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to outstanding individuals of the district's Labor Federation.

At the program, Lac Duong District Labor Federation announced the decision to establish the Trade Union of Langbiang Land Tourism Services Company Limited and the Trade Union of Hien Thi General Agricultural Services Cooperative. These are two Trade Unions at non-state enterprises.

Thus, from the beginning of 2025 to now, Lac Duong District Labor Federation has established 3 non-state enterprise trade unions, achieving 300% of the target assigned by the Provincial Labor Federation. Currently, the whole district has 57 trade unions under the District Labor Federation.

On this occasion, an individual from the Lac Duong District Labor Federation was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for his outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2024.

Lac Duong District Labor Federation presented 31 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the area with a total value of 15.5 million VND.
