Of which, the highest 3-month online deposit interest rate is 4.4%/year, applied by two banks: Vietnam Modern Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MBV) and Vietnam Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VietBank).

These are also two of the remaining six banks maintaining interest rates of 4%/year for a 1-month term.

Leading the market in terms of online deposit interest rates for 3-month terms are BaoViet Bank, VCBNeo and Vikki Bank. All 3 banks listed interest rates of up to 4.35%/year for 3-month terms.

NCB Bank ranked next when listing a deposit interest rate of 4.2%/year, while BVBank listed an interest rate of 4.15%/year.

Eximbank announced the 3-month online savings interest rate at 4.1%/year, applicable from Monday to Friday. On the weekend, the interest rate for this term is increased to 4.2%/year.

Meanwhile, GPBank continues to maintain its position in the market leading group in terms of deposit interest rates, with interest rates up to 4.02%/year.

The remaining 3 banks in the group of banks maintaining deposit interest rates from 4%/year for 3-month term include MB, Nam A Bank and Viet A Bank, with the same rate of 4%/year.

In addition to the group of 12 banks mentioned above, the online deposit interest rate for a 3-month term at HDBank is 3.95%/year.

The bank interest rate of 3.9%/year is currently applied at ABBank, LPBank , MSB, OCB and VPBank.

3.8%/year is the online mobilization interest rate for the same term at a series of banks such as: Bac A Bank, PGBank, SHB , TPBank and VIB.

Kienlongbank maintains an interest rate of 3.7%/year, while Sacombank, Saigonbank and PVcombank have long maintained an interest rate of 3.6%/year for 3-month online deposits.

The lowest savings interest rates for this term belong to SCB and Vietcombank. Both listed interest rates of only 1.9%/year.

The remaining two banks listing 3-month term interest rates below 3%/year are VietinBank and BIDV, at only 2.9%/year. Meanwhile, Agribank listed an interest rate of 3%/year for deposits with the same term.

After February 25, 27 domestic commercial banks have reduced their deposit interest rates, with a reduction of 0.1-1.05%/year. In April alone, a number of banks reduced their deposit interest rates, including VPBank, MB, Eximbank, Nam A Bank, and OCB.
