Bank interest rates today July 8, 2025, banks continue to keep deposit interest rates unchanged. After a long period of continuous interest rate reduction, no bank has listed deposit interest rates from 6%/year for a 12-month term.
With commercial banks continuously reducing deposit interest rates since February 2025, the interest rate market is gradually losing deposit interest rates of 6%/year for terms of 12 months or less.
Even with online savings deposits, the highest 12-month term deposit interest rate is only 5.95%/year. This is the deposit interest rate announced by two commercial banks GPBank and Vikki Bank.
Behind the two banks above in terms of 12-month online banking interest rates are BaoViet Bank, MBV and VietBank with listed interest rates of 5.8%/year.
ABBank is also in the leading group when listing interest rates of 5.7%/year. Next is the group of banks listing online savings interest rates of 5.6%/year, including BVBank, HDBank , MSB, NCB, Saigonbank and Viet A Bank.
5.5%/year is the 12-month online savings interest rate of banks including: Kienlongbank, Nam A Bank and VCBNeo.
At LPBank , PGBank and Sacombank, the deposit interest rate is listed at 5.4%/year.
Meanwhile, SHB and TPBank listed 12-month online deposit interest rates at 5.3%/year and 5.2%/year, respectively.
Eximbank, OCB, PVCombank and VPBank are the remaining banks listing online deposit interest rates above 5%/year for 12-month term deposits. Specifically, all 4 banks are listing interest rates of 5.1%/year for this term.
The remaining banks all listed interest rates below 5%/year for this term, including: ACB, MB, VIB listed 4.9%/year; Techcombank 4.85%/year, Agribank 4.8%/year. BIDV, SeABank, VietinBank 4.7%/year; Vietcombank 4.6%/year and SCB 3.7%/year.
