Working with a group of foreign experts on the survey and implementation of the project: Enhancing the Value and Sustainable Development of the Vietnamese coffee industry

On the morning of November 6, 2025, at the meeting room on the 2nd floor, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Son La province. Comrade Tran Dung Tien - Deputy Director of the Department chaired the reception and worked with the delegation of foreign experts from the Netherlands Development Organization (SNV), the Institute for Management and Sustainable Development (MSD), also attended by representatives of the leaders and experts of the Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Dung Tien - Deputy Director of the Department discussed and provided information on the situation of coffee production, processing and consumption in Son La province. The working delegation introduced the SNV Organization and the project "Enhancing the Value and Sustainable Development of the Vietnamese Coffee Industry" ; discussed and proposed orientations and priorities for the development of the coffee industry in Son La province; discussed cooperation contents within the framework of the project as well as implementing the process and procedures for drafting project documents and submitting them for approval according to current regulations.
