Lamine Yamal helps Barca increase its value to the highest in world football

Barcelona has become the club with the strongest increase in squad value in world football since September last year.

According to the latest market data from Transfermarkt, the total value of Barca's squad increased by 190 million euros. This figure helped the value of the Camp Nou team's squad surpass the 1 billion euro mark, specifically reaching 1.07 billion euros.

Barcelona's impressive form under Hansi Flick, with a domestic treble – La Liga, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup – and a run to the Champions League semi-finals (losing to Inter Milan) has contributed greatly to the rise in market value of players.

This growth is largely due to the explosion of young talent, especially Lamine Yamal , who is currently the most valuable player in the world according to Transfermarkt – 200 million euros.

Alongside Yamal, other young players who have improved are Pau Cubarsi and Fermin Lopez. Pedri has also increased in value after a spectacular season.

These increases make Barca the most valuable team compared to the start of the 2024/25 season. Other clubs that have surpassed the €100m mark in value are PSG, Sporting Lisbon and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Behind Barca is PSG. The Champions League champion has an increase of 176 million euros.

This is thanks to the excellent performances of players like Vitinha, Hakimi, Zaire-Emery, Doue and Barcola.

Coach Luis Enrique's team has won every title possible and is currently the leading candidate for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup , with a total squad value of 1.06 billion euros.

The third place in the ranking of the most valuable squads in the 2024/25 season belongs to Sporting Lisbon. The total value of the Portuguese champions increased by 118 million euros, reaching 511 million euros.

Frankfurt, the team ranked 3rd in Bundesliga, impressed with a 107 million euro increase, bringing the value of the squad to 355 million euros at the end of the season.

Right behind these three clubs is Como 1907 – the attractive team of coach Cesc Fabregas. The Lombardia team increased its value by 82 million euros, reaching 188 million euros.
