These are practical activities to take care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, former Youth Union officials, former volunteer youth, and disadvantaged and lonely families in the district.
Periodically on holidays and Tet, every month, the District Youth Union organizes days of “eating, living, and working together” with families of policy beneficiaries. During these days, union members and young people visit, help, and share difficulties with the families. Simple actions such as cleaning the house and surrounding landscape, cooking warm meals, chatting, and listening to historical stories contribute to soothing the pain of loss of the families and fostering gratitude in the younger generation.

Carrying out gratitude activities, Duc Hoa district youth kindly visited and presented meaningful gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers , people with revolutionary contributions and policy families with difficult circumstances.
In the Youth Month of 2025, the District Youth Union presented a symbolic plaque for the Youth Project model "Returning to Mother's House" and carried out the renovation and renovation of a more spacious house for Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dao Thi Mat in An Ninh Tay commune with a total cost of 120 million VND.
The Gratitude Movement has also become a regular activity in the activities of the youth of Kien Tuong town. During the peak week of " Drinking water, remember the source " and "Repaying gratitude" in 2024, more than 1,000 union members and youth union members of Kien Tuong town actively participated in meaningful projects and youth work such as "Thousands of flowers offered to martyrs' graves" and "Taking care of works honoring martyrs", contributing to beautifying the "red addresses" in the area.
