Spreading Vietnamese traditional art at the World Exhibition EXPO 2025

The World Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan takes place from April 13 to October 13 on Yumeshima Island, Osaka, Japan with the participation of 158 countries and international organizations. The Vietnam Exhibition House at EXPO 2025 is organized and operated by the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

According to the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism , in the first week of the EXPO 2025 World Exhibition, the Vietnam Exhibition House successfully organized the traditional art performance program "Beauty of Vietnam", attracting a large number of Japanese and international tourists. This is the first program of a series of unique cultural and artistic activities of Vietnam at EXPO 2025.

At the Exhibition, Vietnam aims to introduce to international friends the quintessence of national culture in an impressive and highest quality way through professional, dedicated artists and extensive, continuous performance and cooperation activities. Along with water puppetry, art performances and interactive programs contribute to the successful promotion of Vietnamese culture, country and people, while enhancing friendship and mutual understanding between Vietnam and the international community.

The program "Beauty of Vietnam" taking place on the afternoon of April 19, 2025 is the beginning of a series of unique cultural and artistic activities of the Vietnam Exhibition House at EXPO 2025. The location of the program - the Inner stage - is one of the 5 outdoor stages of EXPO 2025, located right in the center of the square, opposite the Vietnam, France, USA, Malaysia Exhibition Houses... and very close to the Japan Exhibition House. This will also be one of the familiar locations for art performances, exhibitions, and outdoor events organized by the Vietnam Exhibition House during the next 6 months at EXPO 2025.

During the program, Japanese and international audiences immersed themselves in Vietnamese folk melodies, representing the culture of the three regions of the North, Central and South, such as the Concerto "Liu Thuy - Kim Tien - Xuan Phong - Long Ho", "Cung Dan Dat Nuoc", "Tinh Que Huong"...

According to the Department of International Cooperation, within the framework of EXPO 2025, in addition to daily traditional art programs at the Exhibition Hall and at some outdoor stages, in June, saxophone artist Bao Anh Taruki, son of People's Artist Thai Bao, will have a tour at EXPO 2025; in August, more than 40 Vietnamese and Japanese dancers will dance yosakoi and introduce Bac Ninh Quan Ho to EXPO audiences... In particular, Vietnam National Day (September 9) promises to be the biggest "cultural feast" for EXPO 2025 audiences...

In addition, the Exhibition House is also ready to welcome and support Vietnamese artists at home and abroad who want to participate in performing, exchanging, introducing and promoting Vietnamese culture and art within the framework of EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
