On January 3, Nguyen Du Lao-Vietnamese Bilingual School organized the 2025 Spring Food Fair to welcome the Lunar New Year 2025 and spread the spirit of turning towards the homeland.
According to a VNA reporter in Laos, in a series of activities to welcome the Lunar New Year 2025 and spread the spirit of turning towards the homeland, on January 3 in the capital Vientiane, Nguyen Du Lao-Vietnamese Bilingual School organized the 2025 Spring Food Fair.
Attending the event were representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos; representatives of the General Association of Vietnamese in Laos; representatives of the Vietnamese Association in the capital Vientiane, along with a large number of officials, teachers, students and parents of Nguyen Du Lao-Vietnamese bilingual school.
This is one of the extracurricular activities to celebrate the Spring of At Ty 2025, with the hope that students will have more opportunities to explore and learn about the beauty of Tet culture and customs, thereby strengthening the awareness of preserving and promoting Vietnamese culinary culture better to their peers as well as the Lao people.
In a colorful setting filled with the atmosphere of Spring such as peach blossoms, apricot blossoms, Chung cakes, red parallel sentences... and with songs, dances, the students brought to the audience special performances, imbued with the spring of their homeland to celebrate the Party, celebrate Spring, and celebrate the renewed Vietnam.
In addition, the Organizing Committee also recreated a familiar space for each individual and Vietnamese family every time Tet comes, Spring comes so that children can participate in activities together and cook traditional dishes, participate in the Spring market and folk games such as blindfolded goat catching, thereby not only training and encouraging the spirit of creativity, ingenuity, solidarity, helping each other to excel in their studies, but also so that children always remember their homeland.
Traditional Tet with its lifestyle imbued with national cultural identity is always the pride of every Vietnamese person anywhere and is always preserved and promoted through generations.
Nguyen Du Lao-Vietnamese Bilingual School is the cradle that nurtures the special friendship and solidarity between Laos and Vietnam.
