Song Hau Industrial Park is part of the planning of Soc Trang province for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, and has been approved by the Prime Minister with an initial planned area of 281.57 hectares. According to the provincial planning, Song Hau Industrial Park is planned to include 2 sub-areas: Song Hau Industrial Park - Sub-area 1 with an area of 121 hectares and Song Hau Industrial Park - Sub-area 2 with an area of 160.57 hectares. Both sub-areas are planned in Ke Sach district, Soc Trang province.
In terms of nature, Song Hau Industrial Park is oriented as a multi-industry industrial park, capable of attracting investment projects in the fields of food processing, canned fruit processing; component manufacturing, assembly of electrical and electronic products, industrial electricity, electronics industry, semiconductors; information technology, high technology, etc.

Through research, InDel Investment and Development Joint Stock Company ( Hanoi ) proposed the Project of Investment in construction and business of infrastructure of Song Hau Industrial Park with a land use scale of about 281.57 hectares with a total capital and investment mobilization plan of 2,937 billion VND. The project has an operating period of 50 years from the date of decision approving the project investment policy. The project implementation progress is 36 months from the date of commencement.
According to Mr. Tran Van The - Chairman of the Board of Directors of InDel Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, the industries attracting investment in Song Hau Industrial Park are manufacturing and assembling equipment, data transmission components, mobile phones, computers and peripherals; logistics services, warehouses, factories for rent; agricultural production and processing; garment and footwear industry... It is expected that construction will start in the third quarter of 2026 and technical infrastructure will be completed and put into use in the third quarter of 2029. The project will create jobs for about 28,000 workers, while having a positive and effective impact on the local socio -economy. Thereby, the investor proposed many contents to the Provincial People's Committee.
At the meeting, the provincial departments, agencies and the People's Committee of Ke Sach district reported to clarify the current status of Song Hau Industrial Park planning, such as: site clearance, resettlement area planning, workers' housing area; investment form selection; investment incentives, etc.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Tran Van Lau thanked the enterprise for researching and choosing Soc Trang province as an investment destination and choosing to invest in Song Hau Industrial Park. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Soc Trang province said that according to the planning, Soc Trang's infrastructure will be increasingly improved in the future and currently there are many national key projects that have been implemented such as: Dai Ngai 2 bridge, Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang expressway phase 1, Tran De seaport project... This is the advantage of the province and investors will benefit if investing in Soc Trang. Comrade Tran Van Lau expressed his joy when receiving the investment proposal for the Song Hau Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Business Project from the enterprise. He acknowledged the recommendations and proposals of the investor and assigned the Management Board of Industrial Parks to collect specific opinions from each department and branch and send a written notice to the enterprise as soon as possible. The People's Committee of Ke Sach district continues to review households affected by the Song Hau Industrial Park planning to have a handling direction...
Comrade Tran Van Lau affirmed that when businesses and investors come to Soc Trang, the province will pay attention to accompanying and creating the most favorable conditions for businesses when investing in Song Hau Industrial Park and other projects in the province in the spirit of cooperation for mutual development.
