Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – A sacred symbol in the heart of the capital
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, also known as Uncle Ho's Mausoleum, is the resting place of the great leader of the Vietnamese people. Construction began on September 2, 1973 and was inaugurated on August 29, 1975 at the historic Ba Dinh Square. This is where Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
