Saemaul Rung New Village - symbol of Vietnam - Korea friendship

Promoting the development of Vietnam - Korea relations is a consistent policy and political determination of senior leaders and has received great support from the people of the two countries. On the basis of the Vietnam - Korea friendship, local cooperation between Thai Nguyen province and Korean localities has also been implemented early and achieved many successes. One of the activities that created a special impression is the New Village Construction Program following the Saemaul Undong movement (Korea). First piloted in Vietnam in Rung Van hamlet, La Bang commune, Dai Tu district (Thai Nguyen) since 2005, the model has now been replicated in many provinces and cities across the country.
