Saemaul Forest New Village - symbol of Vietnam - Korea friendship

Promoting the development of Vietnam - Korea relations is a consistent policy and political determination of high-ranking leaders and has received great support from the people of the two countries. On the basis of the Vietnam - Korea friendship, local cooperation between Thai Nguyen province and Korean localities has also been implemented early and achieved many successes. One of the activities that has created a special mark is the New Village Construction Program following the Saemaul Undong movement (Korea). The first pilot implementation in Vietnam was in Rung Van hamlet, La Bang commune, Dai Tu district (Thai Nguyen) since 2005. Up to now, the model has been replicated in many provinces and cities across the country.
