In the afternoon, students continued to take the specialized English, specialized French, specialized Japanese and specialized IT exams, with a time limit of 150 minutes for each subject.
On the morning of June 6, a candidate violated the exam regulations by bringing a cell phone into the room. The examination board made a record and handled the case according to regulations.
On the morning of June 7, candidates will take the remaining exams including specialized Physics, specialized Chemistry, specialized Biology, specialized History and specialized Geography, with a test time of 150 minutes.
Inspecting at the Examination Council of Tran Phu High School for the Gifted, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the thoughtful and thorough preparation for the Exam. The Vice Chairman emphasized that this is an important Exam to continue selecting students with better achievements, so he requested that the Examination Council pay attention to properly implementing the Exam regulations, ensuring fairness and transparency, and timely inspection, supervision and reporting information if any incident occurs beyond the jurisdiction of the Examination Council.
In the 2025-2026 school year, Tran Phu High School for the Gifted is assigned a target of 18 specialized classes with a total of 630 students. The entrance exam for grade 10 of Tran Phu High School for the 2025-2026 school year has some new points, which are: Eliminating the conditional Foreign Language subject; The admission score will be the total score of the 3 subjects Math, Literature, Foreign Language (coefficient 1) and the specialized subject exam (coefficient 2). The IT specialized class uses both flexible admission methods: a maximum of 15 candidates with the highest admission scores from the specialized IT subject (coefficient 2) and the non-specialized subject exams (coefficient 1) will be selected; the remaining candidates (who have registered for the IT specialized class) will be considered from high to low based on the total score of the specialized Math exam (coefficient 2) and the non-specialized subject exams (coefficient 1)./.
