- On the morning of November 13, a working delegation of the Provincial People's Committee led by Comrade Nguyen Canh Toan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, worked to grasp the situation of deployment and implementation of tasks for the 2025-2026 school year at Lang Son College.
Joining the working delegation were comrade Tran Thanh Nhan, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee; leaders of provincial departments and branches.
On the side of Lang Son College, there were school leaders and leaders of departments, faculties and affiliated organizations.

Lang Son College was established on the basis of merging Lang Son Vocational College, Lang Son Medical College into Lang Son Pedagogical College according to Decision No. 2417/QD-BGDT dated August 27, 2025 of the Minister of Education and Training . Regarding organizational structure and apparatus, the school consists of 5 functional departments, 8 specialized departments, 1 center and Le Quy Don Primary and Secondary School. The total number of staff, civil servants and employees of the school is 247 people, the leadership board includes 4 Vice Principals of the school.

Immediately after the merger, the school's leaders promptly directed the stabilization of the organization, the arrangement of personnel, the unification of training programs and plans, and the implementation of tasks according to the directives and instructions of the Central and Provincial levels. Professional, administrative, and union activities were maintained stably; management, teaching, learning, scientific research, student affairs, and other activities were deployed relatively evenly, ensuring the progress and quality set forth. In the 2025-2026 school year, the school continued to maintain stable training and fostering systems such as college, intermediate, and elementary. The total number of classes currently maintained is 121 with nearly 3,000 students; in addition, the school also maintained training links, coordinated management of a number of other classes; signed training cooperation agreements with 20 units and enterprises inside and outside the province.
In addition, the school also faces difficulties because after the merger, the headquarters are distributed in many different locations, the facilities, teaching equipment, laboratories and practice rooms lack uniformity; the school lacks teachers in majors with great training needs; enrollment work has not yet met the assigned targets...

At the meeting, the school's officials and employees clarified the contents related to training and fostering, pointed out difficulties and problems, and proposed and recommended a number of issues such as: requesting the Ministry of Education and Training to soon issue and guide the implementation of legal documents related to teachers and vocational education fields; reviewing, adjusting and supplementing regulations allowing vocational education institutions to register for joint training activities with foreign educational institutions; requesting the Provincial People's Committee to pay attention to investing in expanding facilities, investing more funds to purchase teaching equipment; assigning more staffing quotas to the school...


After listening to opinions, recommendations and proposals, leaders of the provincial departments and branches answered and clarified issues that the school was concerned about and at the same time oriented and suggested some contents to contribute to improving the quality of activities of Lang Son College in the coming time.

Concluding the working session, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts of Lang Son College in stabilizing the organization and continuing to maintain training activities after the merger.
Regarding the upcoming tasks, he suggested: The school needs to focus on building and implementing the Project "School Development Strategy for the period 2025 - 2030, with a vision to 2035"; clearly defining the development model, training focus, staff standardization roadmap and goals for improving the quality of human resources. In addition, the school proactively studies the documents of the 18th Provincial Party Congress to propose tasks and goals of the Project that are close to the actual situation.
He emphasized: Lang Son College needs to strengthen training cooperation with prestigious universities and vocational training institutions; proactively build a team of lecturers with sufficient quantity and strong expertise, flexibly use part-time lecturers and experts suitable to the requirements of the profession; promote business connections, develop training majors that directly meet the needs of the labor market, especially technical forces serving industrial parks and clusters being formed in the area.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the province will accompany and create favorable conditions for Lang Son College to develop into a quality training institution, closely linked to the socio-economic development requirements of the province. He also hoped that the school's leadership, staff and lecturers would promote the spirit of innovation and responsibility, proactively advise on solutions and implement tasks with the highest determination, contributing to building quality human resources for the new development stage of the province.
Regarding the recommendations on facilities, he agreed on the investment policy for phase 1 and assigned relevant departments and branches to complete the documents and submit them for approval in 2026, ensuring progress and quality.
