The Long Thanh airport project has a total investment of more than 16 billion USD, divided into 3 phases. Of which, phase 1 has a capital of 5.45 billion USD and a capacity of 25 million passengers and 1.2 million tons of cargo/year, expected to be put into operation in 2026. In particular, the terminal, which started construction on August 31, 2023, is considered the heart of this super airport. When this airport is completed, that heart will not only be the pride of the aviation industry, but also a symbol of the country's reach.
