The Prime Minister believes that the precious thoughts and legacy left by the late President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk will be promoted by generations of Turkish leaders and people, contributing to building a prosperous and beautiful Turkey and constantly nurturing the friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Vietnam.
Vietnam and Türkiye established diplomatic relations on June 7, 1978, and the two countries have maintained friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation. Türkiye is one of Vietnam's leading trade partners in the Middle East and a gateway for Vietnam to export to the Middle East and Southern European markets. Bilateral trade turnover in 2022 reached more than 2 billion USD, of which Vietnam exported 1.6 billion USD.
