The Hanoi People's Committee has just sent a document to the Hanoi Department of Tourism regarding the organization of the Hanoi Tourism Festival in 2025.

The document stated that, considering the proposal of the Department of Tourism in Document No. 25/TTr-SDL dated April 24 on organizing the Hanoi Tourism Festival in 2025, the City People's Committee agreed in principle to organize the Hanoi Tourism Festival in 2025 as proposed by the Department of Tourism.

The Hanoi Tourism Festival 2025 will be held with the theme "Experience Hanoi 2025". This is an important annual tourism promotion activity in the city; honoring the values ​​of cultural and historical heritage, promoting destinations, products and unique tourism services of the capital; attracting domestic and international tourists to Hanoi, a "Safe - Quality - Attractive - Friendly" destination. At the same time, practically celebrating the country's major holidays: Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); Celebrating the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and responding to the National Tourism Year 2025 "Hue - Ancient Capital, New Opportunities".

In addition, the Festival also aims to strengthen Hanoi tourism connections with domestic and international provinces and cities, forming inter-regional and inter-national tourism products; connecting Hanoi with domestic and regional tourist destinations.

The Hanoi Tourism Festival 2025 will take place for 3 days from May 30 to June 1 at the Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center in Hanoi. The festival will include many notable experience spaces such as: "Hanoi Destination" experience space; Business connection space; Traditional craft introduction and experience space; Hanoi cuisine experience space; Space connecting Hanoi and other provinces and cities with international friends; Space to experience and explore Hanoi tourism through technology...

In addition to the main activities such as: Recreating the experience of tourists at tourist attractions in the area; stimulating tourism; performing arts; art parades; exchanges... Hanoi's prominent tourist attractions and areas participate in the festival with response activities such as Experiencing the culture of the old quarter, craft streets; Experiential activities in Hanoi's Old Quarter; Instructions on making traditional handicraft products; Experiencing history & heritage at historical sites such as Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam...

The City People's Committee assigns the Department of Tourism to take the lead, coordinate with the Departments, branches, sectors; the People's Committees of districts, towns of the City and related units to organize and implement in accordance with regulations; urge and inspect the implementation of the Plan to ensure efficiency, solemnity, safety, economy, and progress; synthesize and report to the City People's Committee the implementation results.
