The 2nd An Nhon Yellow Apricot Festival takes place from January 9, 2025
(BD) - On January 2, Mr. Mai Xuan Tien, Vice Chairman of An Nhon Town People's Committee, said that the 2nd An Nhon Yellow Apricot Festival in 2025 with many activities such as spring apricot festival and yellow apricot performance will be organized by the Town People's Committee from January 9, 2025.
Accordingly, from January 9 to 27, 2025 (ie December 10 to 28, the year of the Dragon), the spring apricot festival will be held at the ornamental plant exhibition area of Trung Dinh village, Nhon An commune.

From February 6 to 8, 2025 (ie January 9 to 11, At Ty year) at the Town Center Square, An Nhon Yellow Apricot Festival will take place with many activities such as displaying 130 pots of apricot with beautiful designs, bonsai apricot; contest to demonstrate beautiful apricot shapes and forms; display of OCOP products, typical local agricultural products; human chess competition, card calling contest, street festival; ornamental bird competition, folk games...
The festival aims to promote An Nhon's yellow apricot products, contributing to the development of ornamental apricot growing villages associated with tourism development in the town, attracting tourists and investors to visit and learn about investment opportunities in An Nhon.
Through the festival, gardeners have the opportunity to introduce traditional yellow apricot products to serve Tet, promote the connection between producers and consumers, expand the market for products of the craft village and continue to affirm the An Nhon - Binh Dinh yellow apricot brand.
The 2nd An Nhon Golden Apricot Festival in 2025 is one of the activities to welcome the New Year, celebrate major holidays of the country, the province and the locality, celebrate the event of An Nhon becoming a city in 2025 and welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020 - 2025 term, contributing to creating an exciting atmosphere to compete to successfully carry out socio-economic development tasks in 2025.
According to the People's Committee of An Nhon Town, there are about 1,500 households growing ornamental apricot trees in the town, supplying the market with about 1.6 million apricot pots/year. Revenue from the production and trading of ornamental apricot trees in An Nhon is about 80 billion VND to 100 billion VND/year.
