The festival is a party to “treat” diners with many American agricultural products available in Vietnam such as soybeans, cereals, fruits, in addition to seafood, and meat... As of 2022, Vietnam is the 8th largest agricultural import market of the US, with agriculture accounting for 35% of the total export value of the US to Vietnam. This shows that agricultural products play a quite important role in the relationship between the two countries.
Speaking at the event, US Ambassador Marc Knapper said: "Today's event is an example of the effective trade relationship between the United States and Vietnam, especially in the agricultural sector. Total bilateral trade last year increased more than 300 times compared to 1995. This vibrant two-way trade relationship benefits producers, importers and consumers of both countries."

Participating in this year's Great American BBQ Festival, the United States Soybean Export Council (USSEC) offers attractive menus made from US soybeans such as BBQ tofu and vegetable skewers, crispy fried buffalo tofu covered with cheese, Gado Gado summer rolls, jasmine syrup tofu, etc.
Through the exhibition and tasting, USSEC hopes to bring memorable moments along with the commitment to provide reliable and sustainable plant-based protein sources for people. High-quality products made from U.S. soybeans such as soybean oil, soy milk, and tofu made from sustainable U.S. soybeans, along with other products, as cooking ingredients such as tofu, plant-based meat, burgers, etc. were introduced to visitors.

US Soybean Products

Soybeans are known as a familiar ingredient in the daily meals of Vietnamese people. With abundant nutrition and essential nutrients for humans, it helps inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells, anti-inflammatory and reduces the high risk of coronary heart disease. Through this event, USSEC not only introduces safe products from US Soy for health but also wants to promote the application and nutritional information of US Soybeans to diners. US soybean farmers are committed to cultivating innovative, modern methods to increase productivity and carry out the mission towards sustainable development for communities around the world.

Through the dishes made from American soybeans introduced at the festival, USSEC hopes to bring diners many experiences and novelties in dishes made with American soybeans as well as products from American agricultural associations.
