VHO – Permanent Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to receive comments from Council members and cultural experts, and support individuals to complete the application for the title of Meritorious Artisan (Meritorious Artisan) as soon as possible.
On the afternoon of May 6, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, Tran Hoang Tuan, Chairman of the Council for considering and awarding the titles of People's Artisan and Meritorious Artist in the field of intangible cultural heritage of the province, chaired a meeting to review the applications for the title of Meritorious Artist.
The meeting was attended by members of the Review Board and prestigious experts with in-depth knowledge of intangible cultural heritage.
At the meeting, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Standing Office of the Council, reported on the results of the implementation of the title awarding plan.
Accordingly, among the 11 dossiers proposed for the title of Meritorious Artist, there is 1 dossier in the field of folk knowledge and 10 dossiers in the field of folk performing arts.
Delegates attending the meeting contributed ideas, analyzed and voted to select individuals worthy of honor.
Concluding the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and active participation of the Council members and experts.
At the same time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is required to receive comments from Council members and experts. Actively support individuals to complete the dossier as soon as possible, send it to members of the Provincial Council for comments and votes to have a basis for implementing the next steps and send the dossier to the Ministerial Council on time, as required by regulations.
