The ceremony is held on January 10 every year, at Dai Hung historical and cultural relic site (Hong Linh town - Ha Tinh ).

On the evening of February 19, 2024 (ie January 10, Giap Thin year), the Management Board of Dai Hung Historical and Cultural Relic Site (Hong Linh Town) held a ceremony to open the spring seal of Giap Thin. Attending the ceremony were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau, representatives of provincial departments and branches, and a large number of tourists and Buddhists inside and outside the province.

The seal opening ceremony was held to commemorate and pay tribute to the merits of the Ancestor Kinh Duong Vuong and the Hung Kings, and to educate the nation about the tradition of "remembering the source of water when drinking". This was also an opportunity to promote the project of developing spiritual tourism culture in Hong Linh town, period 2020-2025 and the following years.

Immediately after the national peace and prosperity prayer ceremony performed by Venerable Thich Thanh Vuong - abbot of Dai Hung pagoda, the Organizing Committee and delegates conducted the seal opening ceremony and distributed seals to visitors and Buddhists.
