BHG - On the morning of March 28, at Tung Vai Border Guard Station (Quan Ba), the Border Guard Command of Ha Giang province coordinated with Dai Bac Company Limited - Dai Bac Group to organize a signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding on supporting 20 students in difficult circumstances in the program "Adopted Children of Border Guard Station". Attending the ceremony were: Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai, Deputy Head of Political Department of the Provincial Border Guard; Colonel Le Viet Phuong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine; Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung, Chairman of the Board of Members of Dai Bac Company Limited; leaders of Quan Ba district; representatives of 12 border guard stations under the Border Guard Command of Ha Giang province and 20 students eligible for support.

At the program, Dai Bac Company Limited - Dai Bac Group and the Border Guard Command of Ha Giang province signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two units. Accordingly, Dai Bac Company Limited - Dai Bac Group committed to supporting 15 million VND/student/year, starting from April 2025 until they complete the high school education program. The form of support is made in cash or by bank transfer through the Border Guard Command of Ha Giang province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Le Viet Phuong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard, emphasized: “The support of businesses is a valuable source of encouragement to help disadvantaged students in the border areas have better learning conditions. We are committed to using this funding for the right purpose, contributing to the effective implementation of the program.”

The “Adopted Children of Border Guard Stations” program is a practical activity in response to the movement “The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind” launched by the Prime Minister.
