Launching ceremony of the model "Intelligence House" group 1, Chieng Le ward

On March 17, Chieng Le ward, Son La city held the launching ceremony of the "Intelligence House" model, group 1. This is the third model of the city. Attending the launching ceremony were comrade Ha Trung Chien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council.

Group 1, Chieng Le Ward has 184 households, 738 people, with 4 ethnic groups living together. Under the direct direction of the Standing Party Committee, the People's Committee of the Ward, the Steering Committee of Chieng Le Ward on building a global learning ward; the Party cell, the Executive Committee of Group 1 residential group agreed to choose the Cultural House of Group 1 to build a "House of Wisdom", including: Community library and reading room, serving people to come to research and study. In addition, there is an entertainment area such as: Chess, horse racing, Chinese chess, volleyball, table tennis... There is an area displaying a number of artifacts to encourage, preserve and promote the cultural values of ethnic groups.

From the support of the ward and socialized resources, the Party Committee and the Executive Board of the residential group invested in a scientific and reasonable system of bookshelves; the reading room has tables and chairs, lighting, issued a code of conduct, library regulations, slogans, and a green tree system to ensure a space for readers to be close to nature when coming to the "Intellectual House".

To have a variety of books, the Party Committee of Group 1 coordinated with the organizations of Chieng Le ward to launch a movement to support books of households, women's union members, veterans, youth unions, the elderly, and students with over 2,000 books, newspapers, and magazines; coordinated with the Provincial Library to add 600 more books, these books are rotated and changed by the Provincial Library 4 times/year. Currently, the number of books at the "Intellectual House" of Group 1 has nearly 3,000 books.

The People's Committee of Chieng Le Ward has issued a Decision to establish the Executive Board of "Intellectual House " Group 1; establish "Community Learning Group" and recognize the Management Board of "Community Learning Group" Group 1, to serve people to borrow and read books for free.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, comrade Ha Trung Chien acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of Chieng Le ward, especially group 1, in a short time to complete the "Intelligence House". He requested Chieng Le ward and the Executive Board of "Intelligence House" group 1 to effectively operate the "Intelligence House" to serve as a model for groups and hamlets in the ward to learn and replicate. The goal by 2024 is that the City strives for 100% of groups and hamlets to have "Intelligence Houses" in the form of "People do, State support" to ensure suitability with the actual conditions of each group and hamlet.
