The Khmer people's Sene Don Ta festival takes place on September 21, 22 and 23.

On the afternoon of September 15, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho signed and issued Plan No. 98/KH-UBND on organizing activities on the occasion of the Khmer people's Sene Don Ta Festival in 2025. The Sene Don Ta Festival will take place on September 21, 22 and 23 (July 30 and August 1 and 2 of the lunar calendar).

Exciting activities on the occasion of Sene Don Ta festival of Khmer people.

According to the plan, the province will organize a delegation of leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, commanders of the provincial armed forces and local Party committees and authorities to visit and present gifts to a number of Khmer Theravada Buddhist pagodas in the province; prominent Khmer Theravada Buddhist dignitaries and officials; prominent retired cadres and heroic Vietnamese mothers who are Khmer people on the occasion of Sene Don Ta festival.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions to support the Provincial Association of Patriotic Monks and Monks to organize a meeting of monks, dignitaries, religious officials, and cadres who are typical Khmer people on the occasion of Sene Don Ta festival in 2025.

Agencies and units organize visits, give gifts, and encourage families of cadres, soldiers, civil servants, public employees, workers, and laborers who are Khmer people working at agencies and units; Khmer students with permanent residence in the area, with difficult circumstances but good at studying at general schools, ethnic boarding schools, intermediate schools, colleges, and universities in the province...
