Funding ceremony to support the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

Attending the ceremony on the side of Than Uyen district were leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of the district and specialized departments. On the side of Thanh Tri district, there was comrade Tran Thi Van - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of the district as head of the delegation along with leaders of the Military Command, Women's Union, and Veterans Association of the district.

At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Hong Thai - Vice Chairman of Than Uyen District People's Committee quickly informed the working delegation about the implementation of housing support for people with revolutionary contributions; eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in the area. Accordingly, the whole district has 238 households supported to build houses, of which 196 households built new houses, 42 households repaired with a total cost of 12.6 billion VND. As of May 23, 200 households in the area have completed the construction, reaching 84.1%, and 38 households are still implementing; the district has disbursed more than 4.3 billion VND.

Thanh Tri district delegation presented 200 million VND to Than Uyen district to implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district by 2025.

At the same time, the Vice Chairman of Than Uyen District People's Committee expressed his respect and deep gratitude to the leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, mass organizations and people of Thanh Tri District for always accompanying, caring and sharing with the difficulties of the district; especially supporting funds for poor households to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Thereby, helping households have the motivation to rise up in life, strive to develop the economy , and escape poverty sustainably.

Leaders of Than Uyen district and Thanh Tri district ( Hanoi ) presented financial support to Mr. Lo Van Hoi's family in Nam Ngua village, Phuc Than commune.

Responding to the call of the Government, the Prime Minister, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front nationwide to join hands to "eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", with the spirit of "helping each other", Thanh Tri district has allocated 200 million VND from the district's "For the Poor" Fund to support the construction of 4 new solidarity houses for 4 households in especially difficult circumstances in the communes of Ta Mung, Phuc Than and Than Uyen town to implement the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses.

On this occasion, leaders of the two districts visited and presented financial support to Mr. Lo Van Hoi's family in Nam Ngua village, Phuc Than commune.
